Lily Rose will be arriving soon!

Well, DBR will soon be an "aunt" and for the baby shower, Amelia from
www.ameliascakesandfavors.com made these lovely individual cakes for each guest.

One a LILY and another one a ROSE with red velvet inside.

It was a real treat for everyone - not only did it look beautiful on each place setting but the guests were all thrilled to take home their little cakes.

A shout out to Amelia for her wonderful work!!!

What a dream!

Branches and hand attached Orchids always create a beautiful look to any venue.

Manhattan Penthouse's clean look was totally enhanced by the deep purple orchids in contrast to the large white calla lilies.

What do you do when your Bride does NOT like flowers?

When a client comes to you and says "I don't like flowers but I want tall centerpieces" you basically hold your breath and dig a bit more to see what she does like so you can try to incorporate that into the "floral" design.  My bride, Angel, and she was an "angel", did not like flowers at all - if it were up to her she wouldn't even have a bouquet.

Ultimately, branches made her excited -- adding hanging candles to the branches made it "Angel's"!  I did a tall trumpet vase filled with tall curly willow branches and hand attached glass votive cups that held "eletric" lights (always best to use electric near branches).  They gave a beautiful yellow flickering glow all night long.  There were glass votives around the base of the vase on the table - so the room was lit up perfectly.  What fun - no flowers, but candles galore!

For Anglel's bouquet, she did like doing red roses and of course I could not help myself but do a really lovely full red rose bouquet that she truly loved.

Here are some pictures I took - not the best, as I do need to take better pictures, but better than nothing.
Enjoy!
